A Strong Password Isn’t the Strongest Security

I found this information about passwords very interesting. I never realized that it is that easy to steal a password and that such popular sites are just giving the barest of requirements. The fact that some passwords can not have consecutive letters from previous passwords is ridiculous. Why would such protection be required? It seems a bit excessive but it makes sense. Some information has to be protected but I think the way we are going about it now should be changed so that such problems do not occur. I wish this problem did not occur in the first place but there will always be assholes who will steal from others. That will never change. But our systems can and I hope they will.
